Robert S. Knight, MD, FAAF
Robert S. Knight, MD, FAFFP is the medical director of the Plumtree Family Health Center which has served the citizens of Harford County since 1991. He attended Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana and completed his medical training at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. He interned at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC and completed his residency in Family Practice and served as Chief Resident at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice. He has served as a Clinical Instructor, Department of Family Practice, at Franklin Square Hospital. He is on the medical staff at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.
Dr. Knight believes that the family physician is in the best position to deliver, as well as determine, the safest, most cost-effective and evidence based health care to patients, and at the Plumtree Family Health Center, this is the core of our practice.
Dr. Knight has an interest in jazz music, and military history. He is married and has two children.
Roy Rothenberg, PA-C
Mr. Rothenberg is a highly qualified Physician Assistant in the Bel Air community. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has been registered and licensed in the state of Maryland since 1988. He graduated in 1988 from the Essex/Towson Physician Assistant program.
He has practiced and is a principal member at Plumtree Family Health Center since 1993. He gained prior medical experience for Internal Medicine at Care First North Point Center, Coastal Emergency Services, Johns Hopkins Homewood Hospital South, and Medical Health Group Medical Center, Baltimore.
Mr. Rothenberg is honored to serve as a preceptor for the Essex/Towson Physician Assistant program where Plumtree Family Health Center is a highly sought after site for these Physician Assistant students. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Mr. Rothenberg served in the United States Coast Guard, conducting search and rescue missions as an Emergency Medical Technician. Later he became a Corpsman which inspired him to seek a Physician Assistant career. During his service he received a letter of recognition from Commander Group Rockaway for his expert medical skills in the rescue of a fellow shipmate. The City of Baltimore also awarded Mr. Rothenberg a citation for his participation in the rescue of fire victims near the USCG Yard in Curtis Bay Maryland. In 1997 Mr. Rothenberg received a resolution from the Maryland State Senate for his work in Advocating Public Policy for Accessible, Affordable Quality Health Care.

Jeannie Overacre, P.A.-C.
As a native of Harford County, She has witnessed the transformation of a primarily agricultural community to a populous suburban area. Jeannie has enjoyed providing healthcare at Plumtree Family Health Center for the last fourteen years. It has been rewarding to see families mature from birth to adults as productive members of society.
Employed at Upper Chesapeake Health Landmark Family Care Center from 1991 to 1997.
Employed at Homewood South Hospital and Church Hospital in Baltimore, MD from 1986 to 1997. Graduate of Saint Francis University in 1985 with internships at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD and Shadyside, St. Francis and St. Clare Hospitals in Pittsburgh, PA.
Graduate of local John Carroll High School where she initially learned about the PA profession. She is an advocate for the PA profession at their career day and also enjoys completing sports physicals during the summer.
As a mother of two, one of whom is autistic, Jeannie is an advocate for the inclusion of individuals with special needs. She volunteers at the local Normandy Farm, the local Therapeutic Equestrian Riding Center and the ARC. It is her pleasure to help patients with special needs in the practice as well.

Lindsey M. Kruk, PA-C
Lindsey Kruk is a Physicians Assistant at Plumtree Family Health Center. Lindsey is a graduate of King's College in Wilkes-Barre,PA.
Lindsey moved from PA to be closer to her sister, niece and nephew and is now a permanent resident of Abingdon, MD. Although not from Maryland she is learning to love the Orioles, Old Bay, and we are working on the Ravens. Her and husband are Dolphins fans and love to wear their orange and teal. She enjoys going to the movies, gardening, spending time with her family and her dog Finn.

Plumtree Office Manager
Our Office Manager, Christina Markel has been a valued team member at Plumtree for over 10 years. She is a registered medical assistant and certified medical office manager.
Christina takes an active role in everything that she does at work and at home. She is a mom, coach, wife, and a loyal friend! She also serves her community as an elected school board member.
