Jeannie Overacre, P.A.-C.
As a native of Harford County, She has witnessed the transformation of a primarily agricultural community to a populous suburban area. Jeannie has enjoyed providing healthcare at Plumtree Family Health Center for the last fourteen years. It has been rewarding to see families mature from birth to adults as productive members of society. Employed at Upper Chesapeake Health's Landmark Family Care Center from 1991 to 1997. Employed at Homewood South Hospital and Church Hospital in Baltimore, MD from 1986 to 1997. Graduate of Saint Francis University in 1985 with internships at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD and Shadyside, St. Francis and St. Clare Hospitals in Pittsburgh, PA. Graduate of local John Carroll High School where she initially learned about the PA profession. She is an advocate for the PA profession at their career day and also enjoys completing sports physicals during the summer. As a mother of two, one of whom is autistic, Jeannie is an advocate for the inclusion of individuals with special needs. She volunteers at the local Normandy Farm, the local Therapeutic Equestrian Riding Center and the ARC. It is her pleasure to help patients with special needs in the practice as well.
